Placenta Encapsulation*

Using the Steam (Heated) Method of preparation, your placenta is lightly steamed and dehydrated and ground into a fine powder. It is then placed into capsules. This process utilizes Chinese Medicine methods to warm the mother’s body, replenish the blood and balance Qi. 

Steam Method capsules: $175.00  (for twins, add $25.00) – includes capsule preparation, an umbilical cord keepsake, and suggested dosage instructions.**

Using the Raw Method of preparation is similar to the Steam Method with the exception of the steaming step. Your placenta is dehydrated at a lower temperature to preserve its natural nutrients and yields a higher potency capsule.

Placenta Tincture*

A Placenta Tincture uses a small piece of your placenta, fermenting it in 80 proof, Gluten-Free vodka for 6 weeks. This process helps to draw out the nutritional properties from your placenta. Where capsules are most beneficial immediately after birth, tinctures can be used for many years to come.

Placenta tinctures can be beneficial to the mother as well as the child and may help with hormonal changes, low milk supply, menstruation, menopause, boosting the immune system, and thyroid issues.**

Placenta Salve*

A Placenta Salve is a great way to enjoy the rich vitamins, nutrients, stem cells, t-cells, hormones, and anti-inflammatory properties topically. Salve is intended for EXTERNAL use only.

​Your placenta is infused in a blend of coconut oil, almond oil, and shea butter. It can be used for hemorrhoids, diaper rash, perineal tears, burns, eczema, skin irritation, and sunburn. It can also be used on a Cesarean section incision after the wound is closed and is can help decrease scarring, itching, and discomfort. Lavender essential oil can be added for a soothing scent.**

*Pricing includes pickup and delivery within Franklin County. For homes outside of Franklin County, a mileage fee may be assessed for time and travel. To avoid the extra fee, arrangements for drop-off and pick-up can be made. Shipping options are also available.
